The Wonderful World Of 8-Bit Pixel Art
posted by Robert Wojciechowski with the tags: "Art", "Graphics", "Retro" .
8-Bit Art, or “Pixel Art” is style of graphic design that was first seen in the 1980s and early 1990s, most commonly in video games.
The famous computer game “Super Mario Brothers” is widely regarded as the origin of low resolution 8-bit art. The constraints of video game technology in those days gave artists and developers few visual options. Today, this old school 8-bit art is emulated to great effect.
Here are some wonderful examples!

I love this post, I think reverting back to old style graphics in a new world is very creative. It is very interesting to see how someone can begin with the same limitations as another artist and take it so far. Putting a 8 bit pixelated video game character next to a real life person or real architecture literally brings these characters to life. This is an amazing post.
